Job Description The Server R&D Team focuses on the research and development of server hardware in the fields of computing, storage, heterogeneous computing, etc., software development, and the provision and delivery of relevant business solutions. Heterogeneous Hardware and Systems, which belongs to the Heterogeneous Computing Software and Hardware Integration Team under the Server R&D Team, is committed to the introduction of heterogeneous computing components, the planning of corresponding heterogeneous computing infrastructure, and the business delivery of Kunlun software-hardware integration for heterogeneous workloads. It is also responsible for the business requirements and solutions of the Group, Lingjun, and EGS.
Sinian team focuses on heterogeneous compute and software-hardware cooperative technologies. We have worked on a unified heterogeneity-aware lowering and optimization platform, accelerating applications on various heterogeneous hardware. Our goal is to unleash the hardware computing power and deploy applications for improving portability, performance, and utilization.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Installation, configuration and bring-up of vendor heterogeneous computing hardware
2. Providing operational support for prototype hardware and software system including validation and troubleshooting
3. Troubleshoot and resolve any system-related issues arising during heterogeneous computing and deployment
4. Performance analysis, profiling and benchmarking of heterogeneous computing workloads running on system
5. Collaborate with production team to distill the requirements
6. Independently solving complex technical and logistical problems in a fast-paced environment
Position Requirement Minimum qualification:
1. BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field;
2. At least 3-5 years industry experience or relevant experience;
3. Experience with heterogeneous hardware architectures and hardware accelerators;
4. Experience in heterogeneous computing frameworks and toolsets;
5. Ability to work independently, good communication and strong interpersonal skills;
6. Reliability and self-motivation in a dynamic product-oriented team;
Preferred qualification:
1. Knowledge of heterogeneous hardware architecture;
2. Experience in large scale computing distributed training process;
3. Knowledge of heterogeneous computing algorithm and architecture;
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $168,000/year and $276,000/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
