Are you passionate about Video Games, Coding, Python, Roblox™, App Design, Digital Movies, Robotics, Drones, Minecraft™ or STEM?

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our after school programs in Central & Northern NJ. Lead instructors guide students through our world class project based learning curriculum to learn new technology skills in coding, Minecraft, ROBLOX, video editing, game design, robotics and more!

  • Seasonal (8-16 weeks), with options to continue into additional seasons

  • Get in-room technology experience with excited students

  • PAID training!

  • No formal experience required, but teaching experience in some capacity and strong tech skills highly preferred

Requirements

  • Experience with technology or teaching preferred

  • Reliable transportation to locations such as East Brunswick, Piscataway, Edison, Paramus, and Carteret. More locations are added throughout the season.

  • Must be available to teach from 2:15 - 5:00 PM on Thursdays (Additional opportunities available throughout the season)

  • Lead Instructors must be at least 21 years of age and have experience working with children ages 8-14 and/or technology

  • Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required

  • Comfortable working with teacher to student ratios of 12/1

  • Strong technology skills preferred, such as a background in 3D modeling, digital arts, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitive gaming, etc. or significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, including modding or streaming

  • Preference will be given to those who are most flexible on their location and available for multiple sites.

Additional Details:

  • This is a seasonal, part-time, hourly position (5-10 hours per week)

  • Lead Instructor ranging from $24-$30 hourly

  • Paid Training, toll reimbursement

  • Opportunities for summer employment of 35-40 hours per week in our camps after completing a school year session.

  • K-12 teachers, college seniors, and graduate students are strongly encouraged to apply. Technology experts with significant experience with groups of kids are also strongly encouraged to apply.
